SAND TRAP LOUVER MODEL MAS-STL

General Description:

Sand Trap louver allows air flow entry while separating and trapping sand from the air.

MAS Sand Trap louvers are very effective in trapping sand while having attractive and aesthetic look that meets most architectural needs.

MAS Sand Trap louvers are constructed from two sets of inverted C-Channels mounted vertically. Frame and blades are made of high quality Aluminum sheets and sections as standard.

• Outer casing thickness 1.8mm
• Blades thickness 1.8 mm

Galvanized or stainless steel is available as an option.
Anodized Aluminum and different Paint finishes and colors are also available upon request.
The Louver has self emptying holes at the bottom through which the trapped sand is expelled out smoothly.
For louver heights more than 1250mm intermediate reinforcement with transom and sand chute are used.

A typical efficiency based on test results conducted on similar equipment:

• 80 percent on 20 to 200 microns test dust distribution.
• 50 percent on 1 to 70 microns test dust distribution

Fixing Detail:

• Fixing of louver to the structural wall is via concealed screws all around the perimeter.
